Today, former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort pleaded not guilty to an 18-count indictment in Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian meddling into the 2016 election. As he was leaving the federal courthouse in Alexandria, Virginia, a protestor made his presence known in humiliating fashion.

His longtime business partner, Rick Gates, has already pleaded guilty to a reduced set of charges in exchange for coopering with Mueller’s probe. Gates, for his part, is only facing two felony counts.
Those who voted for Trump did so on the premise that he would put “America First,” not hire staffers who are quite literally working for foreign governments.
