Pennsylvania Republicans just redefined “sore loser” with one of the pettiest legal moves we’ve seen in a while.
The Pennsylvania Supreme Court declared the state’s congressional districting unconstitutionally gerrymandered two weeks ago. Instead of admitting wrongdoing and thinking about what he’s done, State Representative Cris Dush just called for impeachment of all five judges on Pennsylvania’s state supreme court.
If at first you don't succeed … Republican St Rep Cris Dush wants to impeach all five @SupremeCtofPA Justices who found the PA congressional map to be an unconstitutional gerrymander. cc: @DKElections @PoliticsWolf https://t.co/KmR0V9F5mg pic.twitter.com/QF3RKaiBZN

Dush argues in the memo, “The five Justices who signed this order that blatantly and clearly contradicts the plain language of the Pennsylvania Constitution, engaged in misbehavior in office.”
Sorry, Dush, but you can’t just call any ruling the doesn’t go your way engagement in “misbehavior.”
In what is a huge win for American democracy and for Democratic Party prospects in 2018, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that the state’s Congressional map violates the state’s constitution due to the outrageous gerrymandering that the Republican-controlled legislature has imposed on the state.

The court ordered the map to be redrawn in time for the 2018 midterm elections, which could have huge consequences for a Republican Party likely to struggle in holding their majority.
This decision was also final; conservatives were not allowed pass the buck down to the Supreme Court.
Pennsylvania currently has an eighteen-person delegation to the House of Representatives; thirteen Republicans and five Democrats.
The state’s general assembly has until the 9th of February to redraw the map, which then goes to Democratic Governor Tom Wolfe for approval.
Pundits called this a “game-changer” for Democratic efforts to flip the House come midterms.
Dush seems to be hating on both the player and the game here, but only because things didn’t work out in his favor.
