Trump just admitted where he sometimes tweets from, confirming everyone’s suspicion

- Januari 28, 2018

More details from President Trump’s interview with British journalist and former CNN host Piers Morgan are spreading across the web this afternoon with the intimate lowdown on the President’s tweeting habits finally revealed.

Morgan quizzed Trump about his Twitter obsession and garnered some previously unconfirmed details about the President’s Twitter routine.

No other president has used the social media platform like this one does, utilizing Twitter as a means of bypassing traditional media filters that would inevitably point out whether what Trump is actually saying has any basis whatsoever in reality. The President has used Twitter for major policy announcements, personal beefs, self-pitying indignation at perceived slights, and even for “covfefe.”

The President explained his use of Twitter in terms of his battle against “fake news” which has been more accurately defined as any news that Trump doesn’t want to hear. He told Morgan:

“If I don’t have that form of communication I can’t defend myself,” Trump said. “I get a lot of fake news, a lot of news that is very false or made up.”

Perhaps he should stop reading his own press releases.

He also confirmed that although he sometimes allows others to tweet on his behalf, he usually tweets himself, often from his bed. Morgan asked the President whether it was accurate to picture the President lying in bed, thinking of things that will push people’s buttons, and Trump replied:

“Well, perhaps sometimes in bed, perhaps sometimes at breakfast or lunch or whatever, but generally speaking during the early morning, or during the evening I can do whatever, but I am very busy during the day, very long hours. I am busy. I will sometimes just dictate out something really quickly and give it to one of my people to put it on,” he said.

Given Trump’s reported “executive time” schedule, you can feel free to take that last comment with a huge grain of salt.

At least you now have answers to any morbidly curious questions you may have had about the President’s twitter usage. Be thankful that Trump hasn’t mentioned tweeting from any other private place in his personal quarters. That would be way too much information.
