Former Trump aide just threw his former boss under the bus in live interview

- Januari 05, 2018

The White House, including President Trump himself, pushed back hard Friday against the media firestorm unleashed by revelations in Michael Wolff’s new tell-book, “Fire and Fury.”

Their counter-offensive rests on two pillars.  First, that Wolff never had the access that he claimed to have, and is most likely making up many if not most of the so-called revelations that the media has been salivating over.  And second, that many of the sources and overheard conversations he uses in the best-seller’s many drama filled anecdotes are anonymous.  In other words, no one has gone public to give an opinion about the president that’s  anything like the many Wolff reveals in his book.

Enter Sam Nunberg, one of then candidate-Trump’s chief advisers during his now historic run for the White House.  He he had a front row seat to the chaotic campaign and is featured prominently in” Fire and Fury.”

Nunberg appeared on MSNBC late Friday and didn’t just corroborate the tone and tenor of the Wolff revelations, he went on record and put an exclamation point on them.

Wolff quoted Nunberg in his book saying that the president is “an effing fool,” and when MSNBC host Joy Reid asked him about that, he didn’t shy away.

“I probably did call him an idiot,” he said, before adding that, the president has “probably called me much worse.”
