A British Mom Of Terror Victim Just Went Mega Viral Ripping Trump A New One

- Desember 01, 2017

The mother of a victim of the terror attack at the Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester Arena this past May has tweeted a plea to President Trump asking him to stop spreading hate.

Trump retweeted anti-Muslim videos from an extreme right-wing political group Britain First two days ago and was criticized for his actions by politicians from across the political spectrum both in the UK and here in the U.S.

Now the first person directly affected by the effects of terrorism has commented on Trump’s actions. Figen Murray is the mother of journalist and social media personality Martyn Hett who was a victim of the terrorist bombing at the Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester Arena earlier this year. She was reading Trump’s reply to British Prime Minister Theresa May’s own horrified response to his retweeting of the racist videos and could not stop herself from sharing her own opinions on the matter:

If the mother of a victim of Muslim terrorism can see that Trump’s racist campaign against the Muslim world only exacerbates the problem that he is supposedly so concerned about, why is the destructiveness of the President’s tactics being ignored by Trump and the Republican party?

Could it be that they don’t actually care about terrorism or the victims of terrorist acts and are simply using their fear mongering as a method of scaring the public into voting for them so they can achieve their political aims of delivering tax cuts to the rich, increasing income inequality, and reducing social services?

Given that Trump is unlikely to cease his racist and conspiracy theory-laden tweets anytime soon, we can only hope that more people directly affected by terrorism add their voices to the multitudes rejecting the President’s offensive tirades and condemning his spiral of hatred.
